Specific Learning Difficulties
Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLDs) are difficulties with literacy and numeracy including dyslexia. People with dyslexia may have difficulties connecting letters on a page and sounds. Dyscalculia is a term used to describe people with difficulties with number related concepts.
Dyspraxia (sometimes called developmental co-ordination disorder or DCD) which affects fine and gross motor skills can also be experienced by children with specific learning difficulties.
