Welcome post...
As if Ofsted wasn't exciting enough, yesterday we received a letter from the House of Commons!
Keep up to date and informed with all our latest news!
As if Ofsted wasn't exciting enough, yesterday we received a letter from the House of Commons!
Well the last day of term is here and the excitement is building!
The voting has stopped and the ballot box emptied and we can now share our election results.
Today's gift buying has begun!
The trees have arrived (hall and entrance), the decorations are up, the proceeds from the Christmas Fair are being counted and their is an air of excitement and anticipation around the school.
Thank you to all our families for their amazing support with our fundraising for Children in Need.
We have sold an amazing amount of merchandise (thank you to the School Council for their sales skills) and had our non-school uniform day today.
We have just counted up and we have collected over £1800 in total for Children in Need over the last 2 weeks...an incredible amount.
Thank you so much for your generous support.
(After all the excitement, I'm afraid the Pudsey and Blush keyrings, badges, wrist-bands and ears will have to go away this weekend ready for a 'Children in Need free' Monday morning!)
Class 10 (year 4) were desperate for Pudsey to come in from the cold and into their classroom this morning!
Year 6 were treated to an afternoon with Peter, a local Baldock resident, yesterday. The children really enjoyed listening to Peter's anecdotes and benefitted from his extensive knowledge around their current World War II topic.
Peter is also known to our Year 3 and 4 children who regularly spend time with him and other local residents at Magdalene Court.
First 'Hot Dog Friday' of the new academic year!
Last week we had Ron (Weasley), a rescued hedgehog from Hettie's Helpers Hedgehog Hospital in Letchworth, visit the Nature Citizens and the children in EYFS.
