Hartsfield were lucky to have a visit from Kylie Grimes on Wednesday 3rd July as part of our sports week. Kylie is a Paralympic gold medal winner in wheelchair rugby and was a true inspiration to us all. It was fantastic to listen to her speak and then KS2 were able to ask questions.
The children in Year 4 received a lovely letter sent on behalf of The King this week in response to the letter they sent regarding their concerns around the River Ivel.
We are all enjoying the sunshine in sporty non-school uniform!
Safari Stu visited us on Monday and children from EYFS and Year 1 enjoyed a lovely time handling and learning about a range of animals.

Year 6 have been busy with the K'Nex Challenge today.
The children in Year 2 enjoyed great interactive workshops linked to the topic of The Great Fire of London.
KS2 children are powering 'batter bikes' today and tomorrow as part of sessions with Herts Catering.
We now have a fixed gallery space in our school entrance.
The children are enjoying a great day of 'retail therapy' with the FHSA volunteers.
Our non-school uniform day today has raised over £600 so far. Thank you.
