The last few days has seen the school transformed. All classes had a Christmas decoration day last week with some having a couple of extra afternoons too! On Thursday evening the staff team went ‘blue tack’ crazy and covered all available spaces with the children’s festive artwork. The blank hall walls are now covered and there is a beautiful tree in the school entrance. The ‘decorate a plate’ competition winning designs are on display outside the old hall and prizes were awarded from the Friends. Our Christmas Fair was a great success and we are awaiting a final figure on the amount we raised. We have agreed that the choir will perform in the new hall next time to avoid the congestion that occurred around year 2- apologies if you were delayed- the only positive was that the barbeque did a roaring trade! Many thanks to Nikki Gough and the Friends team who did an amazing job before, during and after the event- so much done by so few for so many. The next event Friends event is Wrap-a- Present day on 16^th December.
