After weeks, or possibly years, or waiting, we started using the 'old' hall on Monday as a dining room. The new fold down tables were a great success and the feedback from the children, the adults supporting and the catering team was very positive. Teams that work near the dining area noted that disruption either side of lunchtime was reduced allowing for improved teaching and learning.  We are now working on making the clearing up more streamlined with the children taking more responsibility for clearing their own trays and cutlery. The children who have packed lunches are still eating in the corridor near years 3/4 but that too will change in the next few days...
